We only work for a fixed price for jobs requiring our services for more than 2 days, else it's either per hour,half day or full day rate depending on your project need. We normally give you a good idea over the telephone of how long a job is likely to take. You can then book someone in, and when they arrive they will confirm or revise the estimate based on what they find at the job.

If any YES Handyman® personnel shows up at your premises without uniform and ID, entry should be refused and our office should be informed immediately.

At YEShandyman^® , our rate starts from £35 for the first half hour, then £20 per half hour after. Full day rates are also available and offer considerable savings over the flat hourly rate. We also work on a fixed price basis for jobs requiring our services for more than two days.

Yes we are insured and stand behind our services

 

Time charged for work done is rounded up to the next half hour increment. For instance: if the handyperson arrives and commence work at 8.30 am and completes the task at 2.20pm, billable time will be rounded up to 2.30pm and you will be billed for  6 hours.

You probably cannot get the work done well for less, because the economics of contracting has changed over the years. The amount we charge is about the minimum it takes to provide a competent , reliable and insurance backed professional service. While you may be able to find "bargain" service providers who will work for less, these firms are rarely competent and insured, are far less likely to back up their work, and will probably be much more cavalier about returning calls and keeping appointments.
We have a  Services Contract Option which offers great savings over our standard rates at a discounted fee of £26.25 per hour after (A 8 hours  minimum usage per visit applies) for weekly or fortnightly services contract.

 

Our phone are manned  on Monday - Friday  from 8am - 6pm
Saturday and Sunday  from 10am - 6pm.

 

Monday to Saturday 8:00am to 6:00pm
We do work on Sundays and after 6:00pm for a an extra 50% charge per hour.

Yes, we have operatives that are CORGI registered, hence we are able to undertake gas related jobs, unlike most of our competitors.

 

Within the first hour of work, if you are not totally satisfied with YES handyman^® handyperson for any reason, simply phone our office to have the handyperson replaced without additional charge.

 

Yes, we do work for local businesses, estate agents , property management companies, pubs, insurance companies e.t.c. , we will send an handyperson to do the work you need doing and invoice you.

Generally speaking, most of the work we do are booked in advance, we try to start your project after two to four days after you call, not two to four weeks. How readily we commence depends on our schedule, but we normally endeavour to respond to emergencies within 4 hours.

 

Yes, we are able to provide emergency call-out if required  at standard £60.00 for the first half hour and £40.00  per half hour after.

 

Our 0845 is a local rate number and not a premium number as most people believe. In actual fact it will cost you the same as calling a local number. If you prefer, you can call our 020 8691 8550 landline numbers.

All customers are invited to inspect and approve the work prior to paying. In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied after our handyman has left, we simply ask you to notify us within 24 hours of completion and we will return and rectify any defects in workmanship.
